Dr. Connor Ziegler is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and founder of Vitality Orthopedics and Biologics PLLC. He provides modern, concierge orthopedic care including expert regenerative orthobiologics and precision non-surgical and surgical solutions for orthopedic injuries and conditions.

Coming from humble beginnings, having been raised by a single mother in America’s Midwest, living in low-income housing and working jobs as young as nine years old to help make ends meet; Dr. Ziegler understood from a young age that the power of hard work, humility, and kindness matter greatly. These traits became the foundation of his medical career and the driving force behind his patient-centered approach.

Education and training

After earning his MD from the University of Minnesota, he completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Connecticut and went on to pursue elite fellowship training at the world-renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado — one of the most prestigious sports medicine fellowships in country. He has published twenty peer reviewed studies in major orthopedic journals, won two national awards in 2019 for his elite research in Orthobiologics and is currently a lead author in a multicenter study on a new surgical technique for shoulder rotator cuff repair.

After becoming board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Ziegler developed a thriving practice at New England Orthopedic Surgeons based in Hartford, CT. Since then, he has had over 30,000 patient visits, performed thousands of surgeries, and consistently earned recognition for his surgical skill, clinical precision, compassionate bedside manner and attentive and encouraging demeanor. He has frequently been recognized as one of the region’s finest orthopedic surgeons and has over 415 Google reviews with a 4.9/5-star rating.
