To offer this exceptional value and care, Dr. Ziegler does not take insurance for office evaluations or for his regenerative treatments — instead offering pay-for-service, health savings account payments, and healthcare financing options, such as CareCredit. He does still participate with many commercial insurance companies when surgery is appropriate and offers transparent direct-pay and health financing options for surgery as well.

- Expert evaluation from a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and regenerative Orthobiologics specialist
- Ample time to discuss your injury/pain, perform a thorough exam and discuss of treatment options that fit your goals. No rushed patient visits. No crowded waiting rooms.
- On-site digital Xray included
- On-site advanced ultrasound for diagnosis and injection treatment
- If a cortisone injection is indicated or desired, this is included
- Orthopedic laser treatment included
- Health and wellness recommendations
- Orthopedic-focused supplementation recommendations with customized plans
- For any patient moving forward with an indicated Biologics procedure (BMA or PRP or both), the cost of the New Patient consultation will be credited to the Biologics treatment.

Unfortunately, insurance companies are increasingly restricting what treatments patients can receive — even when there are options that offer safer and potentially superior outcomes with reduced recovery time. As Dr. Connor Ziegler looks back, he notes that “after spending years inside the traditional private practice model, one truth became clear: Patients deserve more options, more time, and more control over their recovery.”

It is designed for patients who desire the freedom to choose the treatment that aligns with their goals instead of the one that’s cheapest for the insurance company. “This is the way medicine is meant to be,” explains Dr. Ziegler. “Personal, patient-first, unrushed, evidence-based, and focused on real healing — never red tape.”
For surgeries only, Dr. Ziegler participates with the following commercial payers:
- Aetna (Connecticut and Massachusetts)
- Anthem BCBS (CT) – Elevance Health
- BCBS of Massachusetts
- Health New England (commercial plans only)
- Workers’ Compensation
For patients with out-of-network plans, those without insurance or with high-deductible plans and those with health savings accounts (HSAs), Dr. Ziegler also offers cash-pay and/or health financing options for surgery where a flat rate covers the surgeon fee, anesthesia, and surgical center fee all in one at a fair and affordable rate.
Dr. Ziegler DOES NOT accept:
- Medicare
- Medicare Advantage
- Medicaid / MassHealth / HUSKY
- Liability insurance
- Auto-related injury plans
- Narrow-network products
- Any government-funded programs
