Vitality Orthopedics & Biologics provides regenerative and non-surgical orthopedic care to patients across the Farmington Valley. Our office is at 720 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury, and we see patients from Simsbury, Avon, Canton, Farmington, Granby, East Granby, Burlington, New Hartford and West Hartford.
Every treatment is performed by Dr. Connor Ziegler, a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. You are not handed off to a physician assistant or a technician for your injection.
Non-surgical treatments available to Farmington Valley patients
Most patients come to us because they want to understand what their options are before agreeing to surgery. These are the treatments we offer.
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Concentrated platelets from your own blood, injected into the painful joint or tendon.
- Bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC). Cells drawn from your own bone marrow and concentrated for injection.
- Orthobiologics. The broader category that PRP and bone marrow therapy belong to.
- Orthopedic laser therapy.
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Conditions we treat
Patients across the valley come to us for joint pain that has not responded to rest, physical therapy or cortisone.
- Knee. Knee arthritis, meniscus tears, patellar tendonitis.
- Shoulder. Rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, impingement.

Simsbury
Our office is in Simsbury, on Hopmeadow Street. Simsbury patients come to us most often for knee and shoulder pain, and for tendon problems that started with running, cycling, golf or skiing and did not settle down on their own.
Avon
Avon is our neighboring town to the south. Avon patients frequently ask about PRP and bone marrow therapy for knee arthritis, and about whether an injection is a reasonable step before considering a knee replacement.
Canton and Burlington
Canton and Burlington sit west of us along Route 44. Patients from both towns come for joint pain, tendon injuries and second opinions on surgery that has already been recommended elsewhere.
Farmington
Farmington patients often arrive having already seen a larger orthopedic group. The common question is whether a non-surgical option still exists after being told surgery is the next step. That is the question this practice is built to answer.
Granby and East Granby
Granby and East Granby are directly north of Simsbury. These patients see us for arthritis, rotator cuff problems and overuse injuries.
New Hartford
New Hartford patients come to us for knee and shoulder care, and for regenerative options they cannot find closer to home.
West Hartford
West Hartford patients travel to Simsbury specifically for orthobiologic treatment and for concierge access to the surgeon directly.
